Gonna warn you, this post is going to be reeeaaallly long. I might even divide it up.
So, while the primary focus of our teachings revolve around saber combat, as it is not only the most prevalent but also the most useful, I still feel that, since this is a "JKA Database" and not a "JKA Saber Database," I should include a few segments on Force usage. For this reason, I'd like the cite The Jedi Academy's Holocron on Force Powers.
All of the information below belongs to TJA's archives and was written by Jake Kainite. I will also include links to the original posts at the bottom. I did remove a few pieces of the original text due to inaccuracies that were included dealing with JA+ and JK2 servers, not JKA, however (to my knowledge) the basics of the force powers remain the same in both games. I also made slight edits to the text to correct those errors.
Light Side Powers:
Force Absorb
-Whilst activated, this force power will take damage from any offensive force power and convert the energy into force power to replenish your force pool. This power absorbs Push, Pull, Grip, Lightning and Drain
Level 1: Force Cost 1
Duration: 14 seconds
33% power absorbed
Level 2: Force Cost 3
Duration: 18 seconds
66% power absorbed
Level 3: Force Cost 6
Duration: 18 seconds
100% power absorbed
Force Heal
-This force power allows you to replenish your health points if they have been diminished due to injury and attack
Level 1: Force Cost 2
Heals 5 health points
Level 2: Force Cost 4
Heals 10 health points
Level 3: Force Cost 6
Heals 30 health points
Force Protect
-This force power surrounds you in a glowing green bubble, which protects you from physical damage and attacks and deducts the inflicted damage from your force pool as opposed to your health points

Duration: 14 seconds
Health takes 50% normal damage
Force Pool takes 100% of the damage
Level 2: Force Cost 5
Duration: 18 seconds
Health takes 75% normal damage
Force Pool takes 50% of the damage

Health takes 87.5% normal damage
Force Pool takes 25% of the damage
Force Mind Trick
-This force power surrounds renders you invisible to all opponents allowing you to move around undetected. This is countered by force Seeing and can be detected by Push and Pull due to the force countering animation

One targeted player affected
Level 2: Force Cost 6
Duration: 25 seconds
All players within line of sight affected
Level 3: Force Cost 8

Force Team Heal (Team game modes only)
-This team-play force power is essentially the same as the standard force Heal, but you can restore a certain amount of health points to allies within a certain radius as opposed to healing yourself
Level 1: Force Cost 1
Normal range
Level 2: Force Cost 3
2 times normal range
Level 3: Force Cost 6
4 times normal range
Dark Side Powers:
Force Grip
-This power chokes a living opponent for up to 5 seconds and makes it possible to move them or lift them up. The longer the opponent is held at level 3 the more damage that will be inflicted. The effects and abilities this power offers depend on the force level it is assigned at. This power is counter by Push, Pull and Absorb
Level 1: Force Cost 1
Holds the opponent in place for a few seconds and does no damage but immobilizes them, user must remain stationary
Level 2: Force Cost 3
Raises the enemy off the ground and does a small amount of damage, user must remain stationary
Level 3: Force Cost 6
Does 2 points of damage for the first 2 surges then greatly increases. The user is free to rotate/move in any direction they wish, at walking speed, whilst dragging the target along with them
Force Drain
-This power drains force power from an enemy, replenishing your health whilst diminishing their force pool. The time and effectiveness if this power increase by rank
Level 1: Force Cost 2
A single shot beam that Drains a small amount of Force Power and heals you
Level 2: Force Cost 4
A continuous beam
Level 3: Force Cost 6
A large, continuous fan capable of hitting multiple opponents
Force Lightning
-This force power allows you to shoot bolts of lightning from your hand causing damage to opponents. The damage and effectiveness of this power increase with each level. This power is countered by Absorb
Level 1: Force Cost 2
A single shot beam that causes damage to opponent
Level 2: Force Cost 5
Continuous beam, 18 points of damage per second, has long range reaching across a significant distance of most maps
Level 3: Force Cost 8
Continuous fan capable of hitting multiple targets, 18 points of damage per second, with a shorter range than Level 2
Force Dark Rage
-This force power allows you to launch into a frenzy of speed and anger. With this power activated you move and attack faster, take less damage from attacks. Your health slowly drains to 1 whilst your force power diminishes. When the effects wear off, you move and attack slowly for 10 seconds whilst you recover. You will emerge from this force power if your health reaches 1 or you run out of force energy
Level 1: Force Cost 4
Duration: 10 seconds
33% faster attack speed, 100% faster movement speed, and 50% resistance to damage
Level 2: Force Cost 6
Duration: 20 seconds
33% faster attack speed, 100% faster movement speed, and 50% resistance to damage

-Using this power allows you to make a tremendous vertical leap. Tap the Jump button to do a normal jump (also see Strafe Jumping) but hold down the jump button and you will perform a force assisted jump
Level 1: Force Cost 0
You can jump twice as high as a regular jump
Level 2: Force Cost 2
You can jump four times as high as a regular jump
Level 3: Force Cost 6
You can jump 8 times as high as a regular jump
Special Abilities:
Wall Run: Run alongside a wall whilst strafing into it then press jump to mount the wall and walk along it. If jump is pressed again you will flip off of the wall
Upward Wall Run: Run directly at a wall and double tap jump
Force Push
-This power gives you the ability to physically push opponents and world objects away from you. It can also be used to push fired projectiles back at the sender, at level 3 break saber locks and counter force Grip
Level 1: Force Cost 1
Affects one target
Level 2: Force Cost 3
Forward arc capable of hitting multiple targets
Level 3: Force Cost 6
Forward arc capable of hitting multiple targets and knocking them down
Force Pull
This power gives you the ability to physically pull opponents and world objects towards you. It can also be used to pull weapons away from an opponent or break out of force Grip
