I decided we needed a decisive speed reference sheet, so after some long testing, the results are being placed here. Not much else to say, this isn't like the usual explanatory posts, this is just for reference in terms of speed of various things. Thanks to Dzon for helping me with all the data gathering!
All speeds here are measured in units per second (ups) which is the standard for JKA speed measurements.
Speeds:
Basic Tests:
W, A & D base movement: 250u
S movement: 187u
W, A & D in a circle: ~310u
S in a circle: ~215u
W, A & D in an arc: ~260-300u depending on arc speed and size
S in an arc: ~190-200u depending on arc speed and size
Backflip & cartwheels: 250u
W, A & D Glides: 250u
S glides: 187u
All jumps: 250u base speed, increases with strafe obviously.
W, A & D crouched: 125u
S crouched: 94u
W, A, S, & D walking: 91u (All the same speed when walking)
W, A & D rolling: 600u
S rolling: 500u
Strong Style Tests:
W, A, & D with red swing: 138u
S with red swing: 85u
W, A & D with red swing chain: 138u during swings, with 150u in between pieces of the chain
S with red swing chain: 85u, with 75u in between pieces of the chain (yes, S actually slows down in between chain swings instead of speeding up)
W, A & D with red swing walking: Sometimes 35u, and sometimes 3u. Results seemed almost random as to which you got.
S with red swing walking: 2-3u
W, A & D with chain red swing walking: Once again, random chance between 35u and 3u. However, if you make it to the third swing in a chain, the third will always be 3u.
S with chain red swing walking: 2-3u
W, A & D swings crouched: 69u
S swings crouched: 3u
Red DFA: 300u
Medium Style Tests:
W, A & D with yellow swing: 213u
S with yellow swing: 113u
W, A & D with yellow chain: 213u, and back to 250u in between pieces of the chain
S with yellow chain: 113u, with 188u in between pieces of the chain
W, A & D with yellow swing walking: 77u
S with yellow swing walking: 55u
W, A & D with yellow swing chain walking: 77u, with 91u in between pieces of the chain
S with yellow swing chain walking: 55u, with 90u in between pieces of the chain
W, A & D yellow swings crouched: 107u
S yellow swings crouched: 56u
Fast Style Tests
W, A & D with blue swing:250u
S with blue swing:141u
A & D chain swings with blue: During spins, it slows to 125u
